Rev. Jerry May, Senior Pastor

The Rev. Jerry May comes to Millbrook FUMC from Chipley FUMC where he served for the past ten years. He and his wife, Judy, have two children, Jeremy and Jennifer, and three grandchildren. After serving as a layman for 17 years in the church, the Rev. May answered the Lord’s call to serve His church as an ordained minister. He had already graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration, so his next step toward ordination was obtaining a Master’s Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. He then served as associate pastor at FUMC in Crestview, Florida. From Crestview, he served in Grove Hill for five years, and then at FUMC of Chipley, Florida for 10 years.

“Today, I consider it a great joy and privilege that the Holy Spirit, through our Bishop, has sent us to serve as your pastor,” he said.
