Outreach and Care Ministries

Millbrook FUMC works to go beyond the walls of our church to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the community and world around us. Our Nursing Home Ministry, W.E.L.C.O.M.E. ministry, and domestic and international mission trips are geared to show the love of Jesus to those around us.

Outreach Ministries

Nursing Home Ministry

Nursing Home Ministry  Volunteers from Millbrook First United Methodist Church reach out to nursing home and rehabilitation center residents every week as part of the church's nursing home ministry.

Church volunteers rotate visits to six area nursing homes on a weekly basis, bringing the Word of God, smiles, singing, and laughter to both the participants and the volunteers. Millbrook FUMC also serves Communion to the residents.  If you are interested in serving in this important ministry, contact the Church Office at 334-285-4114.

W.E.L.C.O.M.E

W.E.L.C.O.M.E.  Volunteers from Millbrook First United Methodist Church prepare bags of food and provide them to members of the community through the West Elmore Christian Outreach Mission Exchange (W.E.L.C.O.M.E.) The church helps W.E.L.C.O.M.E. every second Thursday of the month, but ongoing donations are encouraged.
